Grace Patricia Kelly was born on
November 12, 1929, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the
third of four children Her personality was enchanting: pleasant kind and shy.
At young age Grace decided to became an actress, and to study acting. After her high
school in Philadelphia graduation in 1947 she went to New York to try her luck
there.
In October 1947, she was admitted to American Academy
of Dramatic Arts. To support
herself through acting school she got a modeling job. As she started making
movies she ended her modeling career and focused on film. She made her Broadway debut on November 16, 1949. She
continued to work on Broadway until 1950 when she got her first big screen role in a movie Fourteen Hours.
After Fourteen Hours her career skyrocketed. In the
next years she took roles in lots of
movies. For example: High Noon,
Mogambo, Dial M for Murder, Green Fire, Rear Window, The Country Girl, and The Bridges
at Tokyo-Ri. She recived an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting
Actress for her role in Mogambo, but
did not win the award. The Country Girl was the most
successful for her: she received the Academy Award for Best Actress for her
role in the film. She was one of the highest paid and most
respected actresses in the world. In 1955, she was asked to join the United
States Delegation at the Cannes Film Festival in France. During a photo shoot,
she met Prince Rainier III of Monaco. They got married on April 19, 1956. She
ended her acting career. They had three
children: Princess Caroline, Prince Albert, and Princess Stephanie. On September 13,
1982 Princess Grace had a road accident, which caused her death on September
14, 1982. She was 52 years old. After her death Prince was devastated and never
got married again.

Grace Kelly is one of the most admired women in the
world. People all over the world loved, and admired her. Almost 30 years after
her tragic accident most of them still do. She had an amazing career as an
actress but when she met Prince Rainer she was not afraid of losing it. She
gave up her career and lost everything but she got it back in her family. Also she used her status to help other people
(she did a lot of charity work). She followed her acting dream and did not gave
up. And these are some of the things why I admire her.
